The Chicago Booth School of Business offers a short-term and full-term International Business Exchange Program (IBEP), a unique opportunity for MBA students to expand their educational experience and learn business from a foreign perspective at an institution abroad. In India, the Chicago Booth IBEP partners with the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, to facilitate this student exchange program.
The School of Social Service Administration, in collaboration with the Tata Institute of the Social Sciences Centre for Community Organization and Development Practice in Mumbai, India offer an intensive study-abroad program focused on urban poverty and community practice in India. The intent of this program is to provide SSA master’s students with the opportunity to learn about key issues in international social welfare and gain field experience in international social work practice through intensive experiential learning in another country. SSA also hosts students and faculty from the Tata in a similar program, designed to introduce Tata students to urban poverty and community practice in Chicago.
Our Center for Global Health facilitates clinical and research experiences for UChicago faculty and students by pairing with SHARE-India, an NGO focused on infectious disease research, and Sivananda Rehabilitation Home, one of the older leprosy treatment centers in India.
