The University of Chicago’s International Innovation Corps (IIC), The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), and Roland Berger (RB)  held a panel discussion on March 8, 2016 on the topic: "The Impact of Indian Innovations in Global Business". The US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma, delivered the keynote address on the overall importance of US-India collaboration to drive innovation. Mr. Amitabh Kant, Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) and Mr. Anant Maheshwari, President, Honeywell India also shared their perspectives and views on the topic. Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, Managing Partner India and Member of the Global Supervisory Board of Roland Berger shared the findings of a recent innovation study conducted by RB.

The event brought together prominent individuals of the business community to learn about trends in private and public sector innovations and get valuable insights on the impact of these innovations on the future of Indian business.

International Innovation Corps is a program based at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy which sends top talent to work with the Government of India on 13-month fellowships that implement innovative solutions to important development issues.
