Corrie Moreau is an Associate Curator and Professor at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. She is also a faculty member at the University of Chicago in the Committee of Evolutionary Biology.

At this talk, Dr. Moreau will share her experiences conducting field research around the world on one of the most ecolologically important groups of terrestrial animals and provide an overview of her work on inferring the evolution of ants and the role that their gut bacteria play in their evolutionary success.
