The 4th Indian Cancer and Genetics Conference and workshop (ICGCW) will cover basic, translational and clinical aspects of major hereditary cancer syndromes due to germline mutations in various genes including genes that are being increasingly reported on gene panel testing.
A Breast MRI symposium will also be conducted by UChicago Faculty Dr. Kirti Kulkarni and Tata Memorial Centre faculty, Dr. Seema Kembhavi as part of the conference, on Saturday, December 8th, 2018. This symposium has initiated the process of providing an important platform for collaboration and ongoing learning for us and our colleagues in Chicago and India.
The aim of the symposium is to create a unique, interactive hands-on breast MRI interpretation and breast MRI biopsy session. It will provide an in-depth coverage of emerging technologies in the field of breast imaging via didactic lectures, Q and A sessions, interactive sessions, challenging cases, and panel discussions that will add value to the radiology practice. Interesting cases will be presented in a quiz format for audience participation. This symposium will also promote the collaboration between University of Chicago and Tata medical center through exchange of ideas, research opportunities and professional experiences.
